Stop on Red

The Council Bluffs Police Department is launching a new program that targets red-light runners. "Stop on Red" is a high-tech way for the department to monitor more intersections with fewer officers. Click on the attached adobe document for information and frequently asked questions.

The fine for running an automated light is $100.00 if you are issued a citation by an officer for a red light violation the fine is $195.00.

Also cameras have been added at the intersections of:

- 25th Street & W Broadway

- Harrison & Kanesville Blvd

- 30th Ave & I80 East off Ramp at South Expressway
